Becca and Josh: Fargo wedding

I am literally running out of the door to my high school reunion this weekend, but I wanted to show you the incredible wedding of Josh and Becca before I left!

This wedding was spectacular in so many ways. For starters, Becca is pick-your-jaw-off-the-ground gorgeous and Josh is Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome. They picked some stunning venues for their wedding -- the HoDo to get ready, the NDSU alumni center for the ceremony, and the Plains Art Museum for the reception. They also hired a wedding planner -- Alicia Weigel at Bliss Weddings -- to help them organize and plan the day. Mostly, though, Becca and Josh brought their personality and heritage into each part of their wedding. Josh is from Minnesota and is Jewish; Becca is from Fargo and is Catholic. Josh dubbed the wedding the "Uff-da Oy vay wedding," which we think is the funniest thing ever :)

Nora: Newborn

Meet Nora, the newest member of the Cariveau clan! We love snappin' photos of Nora's big sister Izzy and her big brother Hudson, so I knew that Nora would be just as photogenic! Despite Izzy and Hudson trying to get her attention, Nora was fast asleep for most of her photos. She's learned to tune-out her siblings already :)

Of course, I couldn't stop myself from shooting a few photos of Izzy and Hudson, too. They are so adorable and fun!

Jillian + Jess: Grand Forks wedding

Happy Monday, blog friends. Today I've got a Grand Forks wedding to share with you!

Jillian and Jess were married at St. Mary's on a sunny Saturday in Grand Forks. Most of our couples see each other before the ceremony, which can be great for photo takin' and things. But because Jillian and Jess didn't see each other before the ceremony, I had a lot of time with Jillian to take some fun photos of just her. Plus, the girls had a nice relaxing start to the day -- no rushing here or there for photos. They even had pizza for lunch!

Then, after the ceremony, we went out with the wedding party for a few photos around town. We ended our photo session at the reception with a few family photos. It was a great schedule!

The reception was held at the Ralph Engelstad Arena and was ammaaazzzing! It was our first experience there and we LOVED it. The decor, the food, even the cocktail hour, were all done so well! If you are looking for an interesting reception location in Grand Forks, check out the REA.

Elaina: Five-years-old

Little Elaina is five years old! I'm always excited for Elaina's session each year. I was thinking back to the first time I met Elaina :: she was about six months old (right, Jeanette?) and I met her and her mom at Island Park in Fargo. I had just pulled my brand new Canon 20D out of the box and was excited to use it (after my ol' Nikon D100!). I remember being completely smitten with Elaina and her big brown eyes (that I STILL can't get over).

Elaina is such a sweet and vibrant little girl. We had fun playing with her (with her new haircut!) around her yard.

Corrick Family: Portraits

We met up with the Corrick family a few weeks back for a few family snaps :) We had a great time playing in their backyard (and swatting mosquitoes!) and exploring their sugar beet field!
