Lacie and Casey
Yay! Two blog posts in one day. I'm on a roll :)
Here are a few of my favorite photos from an engagement session we had recently with Lacie and Casey (they promise to have kids and name them Stacey and Tracy). They are a ridiculously cute couple and we had fun climbing trees and juggling apples with them!
On a side note :: Because of my computer meltdown in September, I lost all of my blogging presets. Over the next few weeks I'm going to try out a few new options ... let me know what you think! I'd love to hear your input :)

Blog hiatus
Hello again, blog friends! It's been, like, forever! I missed you and your cute faces.
To answer a popular question from our fabulous clients and blog readers :: Yes, I am still alive! In the last two months we've been unbelievable busy. The fall busy season always sneaks up on us and this year is no different. We've been working on lots of weddings, senior sessions, family photos and commercial shoots!
Plus we've had a few technical issues -- my computer was unhappy most of September and had to take a trip to the Apple store and my cell phone's voicemail feature was misbehavin' and still sorta is -- that we had to resolve. So, the good ol' blog had to take a back burner! But I am back and excited to show you what we've been up to :)
Here's a quick photo from Ky + Zach's engagement session. Many more photos and blog posts to come in the next few days!

Jen and Eric: Valley City wedding
More wedding funtimes :)
Today I'm so happy to share Jennifer and Eric's beautiful Valley City wedding with you. Jen and Eric are genuine, kind and downright awesome people. Jen teaches math at a college in Pennsylvania. Eric is very, very tall. :) We had a wonderful day with Jen and Eric and their families!
Jen got ready in her old bedroom at her dad's house on their family farm right outside of Valley City. Then we spent some time exploring the farm with Jen and Eric. It. Was. Gorgeous. Beautiful light, lovely backdrops, and so authentic North Dakota. I loved it!

Brietta and Kenn: Jamestown wedding
Up next on the 12 Days of Weddings :: Brietta and Kenn's Jamestown wedding!
It was a hot hot hot day in Jamestown. As in, we were sweating as soon as we stepped out of the car hot. Despite the heat, we had a wonderful day in Jamestown with Brietta and Kenn. This was a BIG wedding -- over 515 guests were expected to join in the festivities!
Overall, it was a lovely day filled with great details and fun people! There was a bit of drama with the wedding party's bus breaking down on the side of I-94 ... but that's the kind of stuff that makes a wedding day extra memorable.
We started the day with the girls as they got ready in this very yellow room ::

Megan and Andy: Fargo wedding
Happy weekend lovely blog readers :) We are way, way out of town for a wedding, but 12 Days of Weddings continues here on the blog!
Today we've got the wedding of Megan and Andy to share with you :) We fell in love with Megan's big smile and wonderful sense of humor at Kayla and Doug's wedding last year (remember Kayla and Doug's big day?) Of course we were thrilled when she contacted us for her wedding this year! Megan is outgoing, chatty, and loves to laugh. Andy is a bit quieter but also has a warm, welcoming personality. Together they are an absolute joy to be around :)
First I'd like to share a few of their engagement photos, then we'll get to the wedding :)
We explored a little area of Moorhead (and almost got killed by fireworks that kids were throwing off the top of the parking ramp. How does anyone think throwing fireworks off a building is a good idea?)
