Kelly and Scott: Devils Lake wedding

On the second day of Wedding Week, my true love gave to me ... Kelly and Scott's Devils lake wedding!

I have to confess that I really, really like Scott and Kelly. They are so quirky and funny together. Scott is big into accessories -- especially shoes. He's got more pairs of shoes then Kelly. Kory and Scott bond over their love of shoes. And so do Kelly and I. It's a win-win, see?

As soon as I saw Kelly's shoes on the morning of her wedding day, I knew it'd be a good day. I mean, how can you wear shoes like those and NOT have a good day? Her lovely dress was a stunner by J.Crew. She had a birdcage veil and totally can pull off the whole vintage look. I loved it!

Scott wore his own suit, made especially for him in Minneapolis. It had a fabulous blue and white polka-dot liner. He wore lovely striped socks.

When Helen was picking out these photos for the blog yesterday, she was crying. Tears of joy, I think. She kept saying how beautiful Kelly was, how happy they both are, and how fun this whole wedding was. I couldn't say it better myself.

To Kelly and Scott :: thank you for inviting us to your big celebration! We loved every minute of it, from Kelly driving the tractor to Scott's pistol/stamen comment. We love you guys!

Rachelle and Billy: Fargo wedding

Are you ready for 12 Days of Weddings? We've got a blog-jam of weddings to show you, so we'll be featuring one each day for the next 12 days!

We've got our pal and loyal blog reader Helen picking out the photos. Each time I see Helen, she gives me a hard time for not blogging enough. So now she's in charge (and learning how tricky blogging really is!). How is Helen qualified for this big job, you wonder? Well, Helen put together a pretty fabulous wedding back in 2008 and she wears skinny jeans, so I think she'll do a great job :)

First up :: Rachelle and Billy's lovely Fargo wedding. Helen says, "I love the vintage feel of this pink and black wedding! Also, how sweet is it that the bride and her grandma made the wedding dress? The vintage car with pop cans, the cocktail-length bridesmaids dresses, the bride's blue shoes -- I love it all."

Claire: Four-years-old!

I've had this post sitting in my blog queue for weeks ... blogging has taken a slight back-burner to other pressing issues of the day. That is, of course, shooting and editing photos :) And we've been doing a lot of that lately.

Here's a summer session I had with miss Claire, who turned four this year. She's getting so tall and grown-up looking! I just adore Claire -- she's funny (and she snorts when she laughs) and sassy and always sticks her tongue out at me.

April + Tyler: Grand Forks wedding

Happy Friday blogfriends! How are things? Are we all loving this hot, humid weather? Ick.

Today I'm so excited to share April and Tyler's wedding with you. April is quite possibly one of the sweetest people I've ever met. And Tyler is pretty cool, too. They are a vibrant, young and good lookin' (really!) couple and their Grand Forks wedding was a fun celebration with their family and friends. I adored April's bright and fresh color palette :: shades of yellow, black and white. It coordinated very well with the weather that day -- sunny without a cloud in sight.
