Britta and Sean: Minneapolis wedding
I've been sitting here trying to think of a perfect way to sum up Britta and Sean's wedding day. Let me just say that when I get married, I hope my wedding day is just like Britta and Sean's. It was a perfect mix of modern + romantic + sophisticated. There were many beautiful personal touches -- from small things like Post-It note escort cards (Britta's dad works at 3M) to bigger things like the Sofreh, an Iranian spread that includes things such as a mirror, candles and coins on a small table for good luck (Sean is half Iranian). In addition to the actual wedding, I was also in love with Britta's wedding stationary from Linda + Harriett.
More important than the details of the day, though, was an overall feeling of heartfelt joy between Britta and Sean. You could see and feel how much they respected and loved each other :)

On a side note, I photographed this wedding with Emily Griffith. I've photographed Emily a couple of times; it was great to work with her!
