Hip hip hooray ... I just found out that an image from Janessa and Lance's beautiful wedding in April placed in the latest AGWPJA contest. Janessa ruined a perfectly white pair of shoes to get on this path to take this photo, so she deserves a big shout out for being so great to work with! Woohoo for fabulous clients!

Happy Memorial Day! It's finally (!) spring/summer here in North Dakota and that makes me so, so happy. I spent half of the weekend working and the other half at the lake and had a great time all around, of course. 
 
We've been busy lately with lots of outdoor sessions :: families, kids, weddings and a maternity session!  
 
Also, we are working on something special for all of the brides and grooms out there ... but more news on that in the coming weeks :) 
 
I've got a lot to show you this week, so we'll start with a quick shot from an amazing maternity session last weekend. How adorable are these two?

Meet the lovely and fabulous Jenna, our new summer intern! Jenna is a UND student and sister to the gorgeous Andrea (of Andrea and Jake fame). We are smitten by Jenna's sense of humor (really, she's funny!) and her mad dance moves (these are kinda funny, too). Jenna is going to be around this summer helping us with all sorts of projects and we are SO EXCITED that she is here! 
 
This was her first week, so of course we started her internship with a little mini photo session (on the windiest day ever).

After a very fun weekend in Minneapolis, we are back in Grand Forks, and just in time. Apparently there's a flood going on in North Dakota and we've been missing it! Our thoughts are with our friends in Fargo ... we hope the sandbag effort is going well and that everyone is staying dry!  
 
Kory and I had our work cut out for us in Minneapolis -- we had a couple fun family sessions, a stunning wedding, and some super-special sessions (that I'll be able to show you in a couple weeks, hopefully!) all in four days! Everything went well and we had a great time meeting up with old friends and making new ones :)
