So very busy

This is a busy, busy week for me! I've been staying up late and waking up early for the last week, and there is still so much to get done :) I can't wait to have more time to dedicate to my business ... only two more weeks!

I was on assignment yesterday and saw this guy with his tongue out. I thought, "Dude, I know how you feel." :)

Wilco!

Wilco, my most favoritest band ever, was in Fargo last week. I couldn't believe they were actually coming to Fargo until there I was, standing 20 feet from Mr. Jeff Tweedy himself, listening to beautiful sound come from the stage. In addition to the fun on-stage, I had a good time hanging out with my Grand Forks pals Matt and Kory, and my Fargo pals Britta Trygstad and her husband Kris, and Forum copy editor extraordinaire Heidi. We even met up with photographer Katie Lewis for drinks before the concert ... and I ran into my old pal Jamie Rennich from Otis and James Photography in Minot.

So, all in all, it was a great time! Here are some bad, but still blog-worthy, photos from the night ::

Check out Jeff's cowboy hat. Just like Kory!
Heidi and I saw two Wilco band members at the bar, so we swallowed our pride, acted like 13-year-old girls at a Miley Cyrus concert, and asked to take a photo with them. It's OK through ... we look hot :)

Mr. Obama

Last Friday I had the chance to take some photos of Mr. Barack Obama during his quick visit to the North Dakota Democratic Convention that was held in Grand Forks. It was a very cool experience. The energy and excitement from the crowd was just amazing ... I got goosebumps when he was announced. Now, I'm not sure who I'm supporting yet for a presidential candidate, but I love how excited people are for Barack. :)

I love this guy ... what's he thinking?

A crowd of 17,000 is pretty good for Grand Forks, North Dakota!

Around the Island

When we were in Mexico, we rented a golf cart to tour the island. The island is only five miles long, so a golf cart is a great way to get around. :) Here are some of my snaps from that trip.

Mmm, coconut

Mmm, beer.

This is a park on one side of the island where you can glide down over the ocean all day. Very cool.

And the not-so glamorous side of the island.

Hola, Mexico

We have arrived in Mexico and it´s fabulous. The weather is warm but a little windy. Yesterday we traveled in a car, plane, train, then boat to get here. Today we´ll only use our feet or a golf cart :)

My phone is not working for calls or texts, so if you need to reach me please use email. We´ll be home on Friday.
