We've had quite a year here at Shawna Noel Photography! We are so grateful to have amazing clients, supportive family and friends, and jobs that make us excited to get out of bed in the morning :) To all of you out there in blogland, whether you are a friend, client, photographer, or general blog-stalker, thank you taking the time out of your busy schedules to read our little blog this year. It's so cool to hear from all of you in the comments, or to see that people are reading our blog from North Dakota to Washington to Australia to Mexico.  
 
2009 is gearing up to be a great year! We are BOOKED for weddings in summer 2009. We have a couple dates open in November and December '09, but May-October we are booked solid. Happy Thanksgiving! I'm in Minneapolis today and tomorrow for the holiday. We'll be back to the office on Monday.  
 

Good morning! I'm happy to report that I am back to blogging :) My goal is to blog each and every single day 'til Christmas, so get ready!  
 
We've had an amazing fall and are ready and excited for the holiday season. I've got lots of family sessions to show you, plus three weddings, and some personal photos from my trip to Seattle and Vancouver!  
 
Today we are going to start with my trip to Seattle and Vancouver. The Bebbinar was fabulous, of course, and I met so many great people and learned a lot of helpful and useful info from Jen and Steve. It was so hard for me to go away for a week ... what would happen if I wasn't sitting at my desk working on photos? Luckily, Kory took care of everything while I was gone (yay for good friends) and I only worried a little bit. Ha!  
 
I flew into Seattle, where I met up with my friend Jon for dinner. He gave me the quick tour of Seattle and took me up to the Queen Anne neighborhood for the best view. Did I remember my camera? No. :) Just the point-and-shoot camera that I always have in my bag.

The next morning I drove up to Vancouver for the Bebbinar. I didn't take ANY photos in Vancouver because it rained the whole time we were there. Oh, except the one day we had a model shoot. Other than that, all rain, all the time.

The day after the Bebbinar, I drove back down to Seattle and had some time before my flight left to explore the city a bit more. Seattle's a really cool place -- I loved all the hills and all the unique neighborhoods.

Hello, my favorite little blog readers. I'm still alive, I swear! We've been working hard to finish up a whole bunch of photos for our clients. This is great news for our clients but bad news for the blog.
